Após a derrota do Golden State Warriors para o San Antonio Spurs, o novato Klay Thompson foi perguntado pela imprensa local sobre o seu desempenho e sobre a semelhança do seu basquete com o estilo de jogo do argentino Manu Ginobili.
Thompson foi curto e grosso na resposta. “Gosto de jogar o meu jogo e fazer minha parte. Sei que posso ser do mesmo nível, ou até melhor, que Manu Ginobili”, disse o camisa 11. Humilde ele, né!?
Dentro de quadra, o novato fez boa partida e foi o destaque do fraco e desfalcado time da Califórnia. Klay anotou 29 pontos, pegou oito rebotes e distribuiu cinco assistências. Na temporada, ele tem média de 11,8 pontos por noite.
Enquanto o ala ainda busca seu lugar ao sol na NBA, o já consagrado Ginobili foi bastante elogiado pelo técnico Gregg Popovich. “Sem Manu, sem títulos”, disse o comandante do Spurs após o massacre de segunda (16) sobre o Warriors. “Ele tem amor por vencer e é maníaco por competitividade. É mais ou menos como Michael (Jordan) e Kobe (Bryant)”, completou o Coach Pop.
É, pelo jeito o tal de Klay Thompson precisa baixar a bolinha e treinar muito para um dia, quem sabe, chegar aos pés do argentino.

Clearly you can’t read. That site has a link to the source right about the quote. It is even highlighted, indented the source is linked in the word “similarities.” Nice way to make yourself look bad and you don’t even thank that site for the work they did to find the quote. So you rip off some other site’s work and you don’t even source the quote. Very unprofessional.
